Medi, from living and dealing with both places, a lot that is said here is true about many places. People are going to talk about you: some good, some bad, some truths, some lies. It's up to you to listen or not, dismiss things said behind your back as none of your business, or bi..tch slap the person speaking smack to your face. My face is precious so be careful when you take your garbage or truths to it. My back has a side and you are welcome to it....lol!
One of the hardest things to deal with is that niceness can easily be taken as a weakness. Friendliness is often misinterpreted as being friends. Also, what's right and wrong is not as black and white as you might be used to. When people stop talking about you, you are either dead or worse dismissed. I have been known to give a few something to talk about, but NO, NO, NO, my trip to Jamaica was not to hook up with anyone. However I did get cozy with Sophie, such a nice lady...lol!
