gerry123, Bless you for being a decent Human being.
Medi this is good advise gerry 123 gave you regarding buying veggies from the trucks that come into your neighborhood, ask Bentley or some of the ladies in your neighborhood about the schedule, once you meet him/her you can pick up by Bentely or have them come to your door. Also if you eat meat, chicken, get someone to take you to the butcher shop on Fire Station Road, mixed parts 160 JMD per pound, breasts same 160J per pound, wings 250 J a lb, pork 200J a lb, beef about the same, fresh because they have a good turnover. Also fresh fish, get it from fisherman's beach or if you catch the guys in front of Mi Yard you don't have to go that far, ask someone when the best time to check it.
Also there is a shop behind ValuMaster that carries cleaning goods such as detergent, bleach, dish washing liquids, etc. cheap, cheap. Ask someone to point you to it.
If you have to go to HiLo or any of the big stores buy the wholesale goods such as flour, sugar, cornmeal, rice, that the store packs, much cheaper than the imported name brand goods, try to stay away from these items because they are costly. These tips alone saved me tons of money.
Find out if Dicicel works in your neighborhood and get the Plug and Go modem that can be used in most places, but make sure to check first if it will work in your home.
