Well, I took a bath out of a cooking pot yesterday, using water the truck delivered in a "fat boy" cooler, lol. We gotta work on our tank here in the yard before we can take a full-on delivery.
I'm sorry Medi that you arrived just in time for the worst water crisis Negril has seen in many years. But - it makes you very aware of what you can live without and just how little water it takes to wash out a few pair of underwear.
Remember to boil the water that's trucked in. We boil and filter it.
Sharleen - its because of those huge RIUs and the overbuilding of Negril that we are in the pickle we are in. The AIs you speak of are closer to the source and they have huge tanks so they suck it in right off the line first. Then the rest of the beach gets it...the West End is f*cked pretty much now until April.
Yesterday they were fixing a leak out in Grange Hill and then priming the pump and "charging" the line to the West End. We'll see if that did anything at all with regards to the pipe water this morning. I don't expect much.
Medi, maybe I'll see you around town! Enjoy, enjoy!
